The Catalyst Beat

The first kill isn't the catalyst. It's the moment the hero us that's our superior position. The catalyst happens to your character. That's the big thing that happens something happening to your character that kicks them from the ordinary world to the new world. Their world will never be the same, their world won't be the same. So it's kind of the same way I feel about lockins and you know you've probably heard me talk about lock ins at the midpoint and stuff like that. Like I think a lock in happens. Some movies it happens at the mid point. But these things kind of can be adjusted but I find it better to kind of allow it free yourself
