Missus Livingstone and the Voice

The people who met her portray her as regarding the voice as real. They say that she heard it herself, and even heard it more frequently than some other family members. She took a disapproving attitude towards it, and at various times, tried to sist what it said. For example, she didn't like saying the hail mary with the voice because of her presbyterian background. The voice also gave her instructions about how to help people spiritually, and she sometimes refused to do so. One of the predictions that the voice made was that missus livingstone would die in her own home.
