Is There a Conflict Between Modernism and Art School?
I think at a surface level, it would be very easy to see those two things as in conflict with each other. You know, and this goes back to sort of that sort of thing you said earlier about being inside of an art school. How do you see those as in service of each other? It's not a conflict. A skilled designer knows how to balance functionalism and solving real problems while developing their own critical vision.
