I was very familiar with your work on wild trilling. I actually have taken one of Trilling's titles, something of an homage to the moral obligation to be intelligent as a lecture theme. And yet this one seems to have been at least partly sparked by literature. There are people who don't necessarily seem to have a lot in common and probably wouldn't see each other as allies. They wouldn't get along if they were in the same room.
