Try That in a Small Town
The country singer Jason Aldine released a song called Try That in a Small Town earlier this summer. The thrust of the song is basically, you see all these headlines of crime and violence, but come to a small town and try that stuff. There was a big ol' outcry because where he shot the video in front of the county courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee, that's the site of a race riot that happened in 1946 or mob lynching of a black teenager in 1927.
