The Importance of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement
A company that I worked for did something similar, actually. It was a company that employed a lot of young women. And they brought in an EBA and it was when, for those who don't know, when have you bring in that kind of agreement? Yeah, it's called an enterprise bargaining agreement. If you're changing the policy for companies a whole, it has to be passed by a majority vote. So, if they can increase your HEX repayment in line with inflation because they recognize that that is a necessary break even, why are we not recognizing that salaries are exactly the same? Jessica: "Every single year you stay, it actually gets worse for you"
