How Would You Have Dealt With That?

The restaurant was practically in their living room. There weren't any napkins around me to try and secretly spit it out. So I sat there smiling with the lump sitting to one side of my mouth. My partner looked at me and asked, what the fuck is that? And began laughing. Happening was my worst nightmare. The chef and his wife were so kind and lovely.
