We were going to go out at broad daylight without any fighter escort, because there were none then that had any. We didn't have any allied fighters in the tr. So we drove them underground with our bombing. They went underground and started producing building factories so that they couldn't be detected from from above. That's not generally known, but that that oantiquated some of some ofther methodology was incredible. But as you probably are very well aware, america rose to the occasion and out produced the world more than the world has ever seen or ever will again.
