How to Deal With Panic Attacks
The more we welcome feeling anxious and show that the presence of anxiety is irrelevant the more likely your brain is going to be well if this is irrelevant i don't need the send you a warning signal. Our attempt at controlling or escaping anxiety actually has the paradoxical effect of keeping it around or even intensifying it. We're not supposed to have a control over a system that we have no control over. If we're trying to get control over that system it's going to blow up on us and we're going to have twice problems rather than just OCD because now you're going to suffer from an overattachment to control which many people with OCD do come in with.
