Transylvania Kentucky University

Transylvania University is a small liberal arts college. It started in 1780, making it the oldest university west of the Allegheny Mountains. Tuition's almost $45,000 a year. Two US Supreme Court justices went there. 50 US senators, 101 US representatives, 36 governors, 34 ambassadors and the president of the Confederacy came from Transylvania.
