Spencer: I think we've all agreed that if climate change is going to lead to some cataclysmic event that's irreversible then we should do a lot to try to prevent that. But there might be a disagreement about how much we should be willing to sacrifice right now in order to reduce climate change, he says. Spencer: We might disagree about to what extent sacrifices even needed whether there are interventions that can be done that don't require more sacrifice but may be really helpful for climate.
