Hostage Update: 69 Released, Many Still Held by Hamas
This chapter provides an update on the number of hostages that have been released in the past four days. So far, 69 out of nearly 240 hostages have been released by Hamas. Among the released hostages are 50 Israeli women and children, including Abigail Adan, who is also an American citizen. In addition to the Israelis, there were 19 others released, including a Russian-Israeli man and several Thai and Filipino nationals. However, the majority of the hostages are still being held by Hamas and other groups in Gaza.
