The Importance of Reason in Human Behavior
I like big bold basic principles precepts and something like saying okay you know we as humans we're kind of stuck in this notion that when we reason it's in social terms. We can believe in things that aren't true in any objective sense but that allow for us to build great civilizations. I cite some research in the book that shows that if other people disagree with you about something it can actually physically alter your perception of the world. That doesn't make you a great investor even though it makes you perhaps the member of a great civilization.
