Introduction
Since russia launched its invasion of ukraine at the end of february, tens of thousands of people have fled across the border into Hungary. Nick thorpe is standing outside a refugee reception centre in bereg shoran close to hungar's border with ukraine. The government is even paying the train fares for those who want to flee their homeland. All this is happening under the same prime minister, victor orban. During the refugee crisis in 20 15, he built a razor wire fence to keep asylum seekers out. Now he's wearing his new found solidarity with all these people crossing the border on his sleeve.
