How Did You Find Your Way to Commodity Equity?

I'd always been interested in the securities industry and buying and selling stocks. My mom grew up on a cattle ranch in West Texas just outside of the town of Marathon hence the name of my firm. So there was always a little bit of that. We don't have a bunch of oil wells. But I started off with the Franklin Templeton group covering consumer products back out of college. And then from there I found it actually worked really well with my natural inclination of analytical skillset.
