The Difference Between Left Brain and Right Brain Thinking
Schizophrenia is not the same thing as dissociative identity disorder, also called multiple personality disorder or having split personalities. There's no real split mind element to it in any sense that we would understand. Some mental functions are associated more with particular regions of the brain than others. This idea that mental activities or abilities or functions are clearly or very strongly dissociated between the two different cerebral hemispheres of the brain isn't true at all.
