Time magazine reported in 19 96 that the church managed assets of 30 billion dollars. Now we know that they probably have assets in the ball park of a hundred million. An independent analysis estimated that the church brings in approximately seven billion dollars annually in tithes and other donations. The commercial businesses owned by the church help serve the needs of the church in accomplishing its mission.
