How to Respond to Your Opponents
When someone wounds us, that elicits this angrier reaction. I think watching someone like Craig operate in that space, it's clear that when he responds to his opponents, he's not responding out of some wound. He doesn't feel like he's hurt. And so he's responding contemptuously to contempt. That's often when we're most tempted to fight fire with fire for contempt.
