The sex scene was different in that Ewan McGregor's Full Monty was much more on display in the UK version. The American version, they ADR the Scottish accents for the first 10 to 20 minutes of the movie. There really was a concern that if no one understands anything at the beginning of the movie, they're not going to stick around for the end of the film.
