The oldest remains of anatomically modern homo sapiens that we found was about 300,000 years ago. We have not changed biologically in any significant way in the last 10,000 generations. Almost all of our ancestors lived as foreagers from millions of years ago until the advent of agriculture roughly 10,000 years old.
