The Role of Recovery in Climbing
If you're bouldering and doing power stuff, light recovery in between is probably fine. If I'm getting really, really destroyed on endurance oriented things where I'm fatiguing each and every, every set or each and every exercise effort, I might benefit from slightly more intensive training. There's nothing wrong with going out and trying to run fast on your trail run as long as you're willing to accept that you're compromising your intention toward climbing well. You can't train real hard for two different sports.
