Governor Schneider did admit that the flint water crisis was a failure of government at all levels, but he had no intentions of resigning from office. Governor Schneider would go on to complete his second term in full. Professor Mark Edwards also testified at one of the congressional hearings. His theory was directed at someone who had already resigned, Susan Hedman at the EPA. This Hedman said EPA had nothing to do with creating flint. The people with flint did deserve better.
