The Social Pressure of Owning Your Home
The social pressure is such that there's so much reinforcement to do that you'll never have any problems getting along with people if that's what you do. If somebody told me that that's what I was working for when I was in middle school or high school I think I would have just left right then. There's legitimate pressure involved in kind of navigating those relationships but my suggestion would be if you are an entrepreneur never take any advice from someone whose first priority in life is to own their home.
