The One Year Where Mary Kaye Place Was an Absolute Everything
Mary Kaye Place is still my favorite of all time because it does the thing that makes it a play. Every monologue we're zooming in on the person and there are scenes where Richard Burton has a weird um big dog moment with Sandy Dennis outside. Everything about that movie holds up so well and it lost best picture to another play adaptation that I think fucking sucks a man for all seasons.
