EOE: A Clinical and Endoscopic Approach
EOE typically, but not always, presents as a young adult who has ongoing esophageal dysphagia. The condition is more commonly found in men than women. Be sure to differentiate between oral pharyngeal and Esophageal Dysphagia. Physical examination may reveal features of atopic dermatitis or diffuse wheezes if there is underlying asthma.
