The Rogue, Non-Native Olive Baboon Captured Public Interest in Taiwan This Week and Also Made International Headlines

A rogue, non-native olive baboon captured public interest here this week. After it ran a loose in Tao-Yuan city for 10 days. Officials say the baboon was treated on the site for serious injuries. It later transpired that the animal had died from a gunshot wound to the chest. A hunter came forward shortly after to admit that he actually shot the animal. The Leofu Village theme park finally admitted that it did belong to them.
