The Importance of Radical Self-Awareness
I think radical self-awareness is critical. I was never going to be like a Jan-Lakoon or a Yashua Benjio, or I'm naming kind of the Godfathers of AI. For me, I always wanted to do something just thinking about my broader impact in the world. The second piece I think is leading with action. And this has definitely got me in trouble at some points in life. But I think asking for forgiveness and not for permission within reason is the way to go.
