We started with something where you can buy manikins with silican ears that behave similar to yfesh. And we placed just such a manikin into a room, and then had a tracking system on top of it. There were ears, a microphones in the ears of the manikin, and we get sound. So far so good. We have tracked everything, so we get all the information we need,. The initial round of this was completely useless and without any success. Si, we basically went down all this way, installed some acoustic panelling and improved the capture set up significantly which, in the end, gave us successful data.
