The Role of Parenting Behavior in Predicting Future Behavior
The research shows that over time, kids' behavior is more predictive of future parenting behavior. And so very often when you see a child misbehaving, if you'll see that parent being what we might think, it's probably because they're being too permissive. The best thing to do is to help them acknowledge their feelings and help them calm back down.
