The Importance of Infused Moral Virtues
The man elevated to aim at eternal glory is still a man with various powers beyond will and intellect by which he does whatever he does in this life. To have only the new elevation to know and desire this end would leave lacking what we most want to know from such an inquiry. So one gift entails another grace on grace. They are parallel virtues sharing names but differing in species as fortitude from fortitude and temperance from temperance. By each seems the same power works well regarding the same or similar objects because it is subject to a higher rule. Right reason for one temperance God himself for the other.
