If you haven't found a system that works, it's about figuring out what your goal is. Is it to not have to make a decision at dinner time? Is it to try new ingredients? Is it that you want to maximise leftovers? What is that goal? And then figure out, kind of working back from there. Look for things that are prepared and don't be afraid to use them. Rotissory chickens are something we use all the time when we're need protein. Use frozen vegetables like keds or freeze-dried fruit in sheep pan meals. I would say look for s like sheep pan dinners, where you kind of just put everything on one sheep pan
