The Taliban's Nationalist Agenda Could Be Defeated

It could be that the wider threat posed by ISK might have initiated some sort of indirect cooperation, including from a familiar source. It's also a major problem for the Taliban's nationalist agenda to be seen to be relying on outside help again. The killing last year of al-Qaeda leader, I'm an al-Zawahiri, and Kabul is one example where the US showed it had the ability to act.
