The highest form of freedom is being having a will that does the right thing. Our sinful will traps us in sin and has all sorts of negative repercussions. But when our will is perfected, it's at its most free, not its least free. We think of the will as a decision making faculty where I get to choose between different things. The natural will propels us in the direction of the perfection of our nature.
