We're paying 282 million pounds per year constraint payments for wind farms not to provide energy when we don't need it. The consequence of the intermittency on the gas fire power is that it peaked in 2021 at 2500 pounds per megawatt hour for an hour or so. It's like comparing a price of a seasoned ticket on the bus with um the price of hailing an uber at peak hour commuted down the day of a rail strike, he says.
