The Cost of Green Hydrogen
The single biggest cost driver is the cost of renewable electricity. What's driving down the cost of green hydrogen is the growth in aggregate renewable electricity capacity globally, which increases the amount of off peak renewable electricity that gets wasted. The oxygen you can use for medicinal or other purposes, the hydrogen we use for airplane production. So this is basically running renewable electricity through water, break down water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.
