Argentina has very permissive immigration laws, which date back to the 19th century. An Argentine passport allows visa-free travel to 171 countries - a lot more than Russian passports. Having an Argentine child can cut in half the time it takes for parents to get a passport too. The head of Argentina's immigration authority says that since last January, some 22,000 Russians have traveled to Argentina.
