The Impetus to Buy Anything?
Ryan: I still struggle with the the impulse to buy anything. Angela: i'm in a different camp where i've finally got into a place where i see through the impulse. It doesn't make me a better consumer than you, or anything like that. But it's as soon as we see throught and understand it for what it is, i think the illusion begins to dissipate. Ryan: When i was driving past those ladies to day on, i didn't also have that impulse. In fact, i had a a little bit of sorrow, not for them, but for the time that i myself wasted doing those activities when i could have been doing something more meaningful.
