What Is Inflation?
Inflation fundamentally is a persistent across the board rise in the price of goods and services. Why that happens is a little bit of a mystery and a puzzle but probably if we explore this topic where we'll find that inflation actually has different causes and different dynamics in different settings. Another story in the developing country context that's probably very important is that inflation is linked to the exchange rate.
