i think that youre responding to a sort of implied criticism in my question, which is about the nature of what is real. And i think that your response is probably, if it's required by your theory, and your theoryis the only one you have that describes what you can observe, then what's required byyour theory but not observed is still real. Is that fair? I really do think that one of the reasons why we still struggle to understand quantum gravity, for example, as a field of theoretical physics, is exactly because we have not struggled hard enough to understand quanto mechanics. It provides new angles of fruitful approach to long standing problems in physics.
