The Conspiracy Theories of the Culture War Movement

Many of those who have been brought along because of culture war ultimately are not after the same thing that the market of fundamentalists are after. Many of those folks were taught to hate unions, but actually work in trades or jobs where unions actually have done them a lot of good. The concern for them is in many cases, a community that they feel has been politically marginalized by the Democratic Party. So I don't see this as a long term lasting coalition, because there's a kind of cooked up short term interest convergence there which if you don't act swiftly enough is not going to get you the legislative victory.
