The Prophecy of the Assyrians
In Isaiah chapter 9, God talks about how the people in the North did not turn and will not turn back to the Lord. And then what happens is God also speaks to those people who would destroy them in chapter 10. The Assyrians are described as "the rod of my anger," but they're wowed by their potential for justice - even though they aren't good.
