Nick Bostrum's lectures are available on the b b c web site, and those cover both the super intelligence question and autonomus weapons. They all offer different perspectives with different degrees of optimism. When stuart talked about a i recognizing the breed of dog by the color of the carpet, he was referring to a thorny problem of image recognition. It's very hard to get a i to tell us what parts of an image it has incorporated into its recognition model. You've got to be careful with this stuff.
