How to Track Your Blood Sugar in the Absence of Diabetes
The term pro metabolic to me is a dead giveaway that the tracking is very much driven by diet culture. It's also liable to be harmful for anyone who's recovering from orthorexia or other forms of disordered eating. 30 to 40 percent of young women with type 1 diabetes have eating disorders because they have to track and monitor their carbs and blood sugar so closely. We discuss this issue in episode 294 which deals with food journaling.
