Confidential did rely on a network of tipsters, which included sex workers as as disgruntled studio employees,. private detectives and nobodies who had happened on access to somebodys. That confidential would go there atl all sent a signal to all of hollywood that it was not the typical publication which could be easily bought off with access or cold, hard cash in hollywood.
