What Is the Difference Between Fermented Pickles and the Negar Brine Pickles?

An ancient method of making pickles involves submerging the cucumbers in a salt brine. A modern method now are you can put uf into a jar with an airlock and a little water chamber. The main difference between a lato fermented pickle and a classic, quick vinegar pickle is one is mented and one is preserved with a fermented product. They could stay on the counter but fermentation can continue to prevent it from happening.
