We do tend to romanticize people that we aren't close to because it like prevents us from achieving real intimacy. And I think that's okay because it's okay to dream, right? It is for sure. As a barista, I will admit I had crushes on other baristas. When you think that a barista is flirting with you, it's predominantly because they are in customer service. They like want your tips and for you to not free hot coffee in their face.
