Kieran O'Connor writes about football finance on his blog, the Swiss Ramble. He's written extensively about newly promoted Premier League clubs in that time. In almost all cases, championship clubs tend to lose a lot of money as they look to get promotion to the Premier League. But Luton lost money last season, but it was only 6 million in 22 games. That is actually one of the better financial performances in the Championship.
