Are You Getting Other Departments Involved Early in the IoT Journey Phases?

Getting other departments involved early is a key to avoiding problems. A lot of times, budget share comes into play and something may be too expensive for our organization if just marketing needs it or if just security needs it. If the budget can be shared across multiple departments and we can expand that solution, it becomes far more cost justified when more people are involved. The other thing is to get IT or other governance bodies within the organization involved early as well.
