Building a Culture of Listening

The place around if you want to create people speaking up, is around people in perceived positions of power. If leaders do not trust the value of other people's opinions, then you don't get off the starting blocks usually. And i often start my work with leaders talking about the consequences of conversational habits and tying that into what they've got their eye on strategically. So kind of grabbing people's attention is the kind of starting point. The other point is, if you wants to e change habits of speaking up and listening up, you have to talk and engage with power, status and authority.
