There are three areas of the brain that are smaller in children with ADHD. The prefrontal cortex, frontostriety cerebellar projections and the cotate nucleus all have been found to be smaller for those who have ADHD. When these same children are studied as adults, there were two incredible findings. They no longer had small parts of the brain when they grew up.
